Since 1956, United Animal Health has been committed to innovating animal nutrition, and that includes providing alternatives for producers to address the ever-changing needs of their customers.

In 2000, United Animal Health began the development of unique and proprietary enzymes. Six years later in 2006, we launched Enzyvia®, a company focused on enzymes. Enzyvia hired dedicated technical service and sales teams focused on the poultry industry.

By 2007, we could see where the future was going and made a major investment in microbial research and discovery by founding the Microbial Discovery Group (MDG). The vision of MDG was to develop innovative direct fed microbial technologies and establish a fully integrated approach to discovery, validation, manufacturing, and distribution of microbials.

In 2013, the dedicated teams of Enzyvia were brought back into United Animal Health to increase capabilities and opportunities for our partners.

With the basic research and basic manufacturing capabilities of Microbial Discovery Group and the knowledge of the animal nutrition industry and commercial research farms of United Animal Health, our capabilities and your opportunities are unmatched.

Our investments in a fermentation facility and pathogen lab ensure you are getting products that work. Each Bacillus strain is selected from our unique and proprietary process and isolated from high performing animals that are fed today’s diets. Each product is researched under commercial conditions and nothing goes to market until we are sure it does what we say.
