Ellen Swisher Crabb, MBA

Ellen Crabb is a business leader and strategic advisor with a longstanding record of supporting innovation and organizational growth in the U.S, as well as economic and community development across Indiana.
She is the former Owner and CEO of E. S. Crabb and Company, where she led new product development and provided strategic insight for over 100 companies and governmental entities, including Lilly, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, J.R. Simplot, and the Indiana State Legislature from 1986 to 2000. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation of understanding a wide variety of business cultures, priorities, products, and practices.
Ellen has been a member of the CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) since 2016 and has been recognized as one of the Indiana 250, honoring the state’s most influential and impactful leaders, in both 2024 and 2025.
She brings extensive board experience across business, education, and cultural organizations. Her past and current board service includes the CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership, United Animal Health, St. Richard’s Episcopal School and Foundation, Indiana Landmarks, the Hoosier Art Salon, Newfields (Indianapolis Museum of Art), and the Meridian Street Foundation. Ellen also led the formation of a United Animal Health funded Façade Improvement Grant for Sheridan, Indiana that ultimately became a successful, ongoing, and funded redevelopment of the home town of United Animal Health.
