Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and driving the company’s financial strategy, data-driven decision-making, and long-term growth. This role oversees the Finance and IT departments, ensuring financial integrity, technological advancement, and operational efficiency across the organization and its subsidiaries. The CFO collaborates closely with the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and the Compensation Committee to develop forward-thinking financial and incentive strategies aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth, optimize capital structure, and enhance company value. Provide forward-looking financial insights and scenario planning to guide executive decision-making.
- Technology & AI Enablement: Oversee IT operations, leveraging the company’s ERP system and emerging AI capabilities to drive digital transformation, enhance data analytics, and improve business intelligence.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to ensure sustainable growth and financial health. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve company performance.
- Board & Investor Relations: Serve as a key financial advisor to the Board of Directors. Report financial results, analysis, and trends. Support shareholder communications and investor relations. Coordinate the company’s stock valuation process and ensure timely, transparent reporting to shareholders.
- Compensation & Incentive Strategy: Partner with the Head of Human Resources and the Compensation Committee to develop and recommend competitive short- and long-term incentive programs, including equity-based incentives, profit-sharing, and other ownership-related structures, that align with company performance and goals.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Establish and monitor financial controls, risk management policies, and compliance with banking covenants and regulatory requirements.
- Debt & Capital Management: Secure and manage financing arrangements, ensuring appropriate capital structure and cost-effective funding solutions.
- Retirement Plan Oversight: Serve as Chair of the company’s 401(k) Administrative Committee, providing fiduciary oversight of plan operations, compliance, and service provider performance. Ensure adherence to ERISA requirements and alignment with overall compensation strategy.
- Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and develop the Finance and IT teams, fostering a high-performance culture that embraces innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
- Collaboration with Legal: While not directly responsible for legal affairs, work closely with legal counsel and executive leadership to ensure alignment on regulatory and governance matters.

Typical Work Environment:
- Primary work conducted in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- Occasional travel (up to 10%) required for subsidiary site visits, board meetings, and investor events.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
Relevant Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 10+ years in executive roles.
- Experience in a family-owned business strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in financial planning, reporting, and capital management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, IT initative, and AI-driven analytics.
- Knowledge of compensation structures and strategic HR collaboartation.
- Experience with global financial operations, compliance, and transfer pricing.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.

- High integrity and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Licenses / Certifications:
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial certification preferred.
- Familiarity with ERISA compliance and fiduciary responsibilities a plus.
